Did she fall asleep. This has to be a dream, right? ]

[The only thing asleep here is Venat. Sleeping near the flower beds. She’s not sure when she appeared here, it probably shouldn’t have been possible.

But hey, good news is that Venat could just be left here.


If Megumi had the heart to leave her there. ]

[ She's just going to gently brush her fingers against her hair over her forehead, because she has to be real- this is Venat. Dear Venat, or someone who looks cosmically exactly like her- as she used to be.

Not Hydaelyn, but herself.

In the shock, she can't even register what emotion she should feel, so she quickly draws her hand down to her shoulder to shake her. ]

[She is shaken awake, it’s gentle at least and she makes the smallest gasp as her eyes re-focus on what is in front of her. ]

[ The relief is palpable as she slowly sits up. How? How is she here? What force of nature brought her back to the star.]


Did you call for me? How? Why?

[ It is her- relief floods through her, but at the same time- she helps her sit up, hands on her shoulders, emotion in her gaze. ]

You say that like I wouldn't wish for you to be here, Venat... but full glad I am that you are!

[ She's just going to reach over and hug her ever so tight, burying her face in the side of her neck. ]

I didn't summon you here- not intentionally, anyroad... are you hurt? How are you feeling? You're so... tangible.

I feel disoriented.

[ She’s honest. She isn’t sure what she can do right now. Does she still have powers? Does she still have everything intact?

That shouldn’t matter.

She’s just going to hug Megumi so very tight. ]

[ Who knows, but she still hugs her ever so tightly until she speaks, blinking back the tears that threaten to form. ]

Here... here is my home. Right outside in fact. 'Tis called the Lavender Beds.

[ She pulls back to take her face in her hands. ]

I don't know what's happening, but come inside, first! It's cold out here and I will not have you freeze.

[ She pulls back to help her up. ]

Oh, your home. I am at your home.

[ She is confused and amazed all at the same time. Her Megumi has her very own house and home, and she is inviting her inside. How special she feels right now. Especially knowing that she is welcomed in so readily, that Megumi doesn't believe she is an imposter.

Oh, how blessed she feels in this moment.]

I had not noticed how cold it was, please...I would like to go inside now.

[She stands, keeping hold of Megumi's hands...her own very cold.]

I do not understand what is happening.

Do we need to? You're here, on Etheirys... the children are off with their uncle, if I'd known, I'd have kept them here to see you.

[ She told them stories, of the beautiful woman behind Hydaelyn, and she pulls her inside, brushing off the petals and grass from her to help her inside. It's a cozy Lavender Beds home, and she sits her by the bay window and quickly wraps her cotton shawl around her that she keeps there when she reads. ]

Here, wear this while I get you something to drink. Don't disappear on me, alright?

[ She touches her cheek, looking at her fondly- her cheek is warm and she's beautiful. ]

What do you recall, before you fell asleep? Perhaps a wish brought you here?

Perhaps if we are lucky, I will still be here when they return? I would love to meet your children.

[She takes the shawl and sits by the bay window where she is directed and just..blinks slowly. It is lovely to see that her Warrior had a home. A cozy one. A nice life. It was like closure in a sense.]

I do not remember very much, just a strong pull back to this star...I did not think it was possible.

I hope you won't go anywhere, Venat.

[ It's whispered with some urgency, but she draws her hands to the shawl and to her hands, taking them in hers. ]

If I'm the one dreaming, I don't wish to awaken too quickly. I'd still...

[ So much she wanted to say, so much she'd wanted to do for her, at journey's end. ]

So much happened after you left. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I just wish to hold you right now, Venat!

You faced many more trials after mine, did you? I prepared you as best as I could for whatever you were going to face, at least...I thought I had. Please tell me, this is the Source...isn't it? You defeated her?

[She does reach out to hold Megumi again, she may no longer be Hydaelyn. But that doesn't matter. She is happier without all of that. Free.]

Tell me of what happened?

You did... without you, I don't think, I would have gotten where I did. It was thanks to you... that I could see all, all my friends again.


[ She knows it was thanks to Venat ferrying Emet-Selch's soul back from the First that he was able to return here, too.

Her arms move around her back, and she rests her head against her shoulder. ]

'tis the Source. The Endsinger is no more, and Meteion roams free. It's all thanks to you, Venat. And you're here with me.

[ She squeezes her tight, happy tears in her eyes. ]

However long this miracle lasts, I wish for it to be so... Gods, I'm so happy to see you, my darling friend.

[Then everything that she set in place must have played exactly how she wanted it to. She smiles, happy of course. She knew that doing the things that she did would help the course of things. But she never knew how much. If her darling friend is telling her the Endsinger has been defeated and she was able to see everyone, then she has a good idea of how things have happened.

It doesn't explain herself ever being pulled back here.]

I am so happy to see you, my darling one. You have been so brave, and I knew you could weather the storm ahead of you. I knew you could.

[She's stroking Megumi's hair, comforting her. Even if she feels she has no right to do so.]

[ Part of Megumi does blame herself for setting off what all happened to lead Venat into the path she did. If she hadn't been noticed in the past, would they have been able to avoid all of this at least in one timeline?

Yet, with things playing out well here, perhaps this is what was meant to occur?

She quickly inhales, wiping her eyes and beaming at her. ]

It worked out, and full glad I am that it did. Are you hungry at all? You- if you're going to be here, we need to make sure you're fed and cared for! What would you like? I'll linkpearl out for something right away...

[ She'll just busy herself doting on Venat until then, and eventually drag her to try on a nice outfit. She does have some pretty robes that are all sized that she used to wear when she was pregnant that might fit someone as tall as her. (Megumi never dresses unpleasantly)

With that done, it's probably been some time! And Venat is still here. So she'll just take her around the Lavender Beds to show her. ]

I would like something to eat, perhaps a bath if it isn’t too much trouble.

[ But they can take their walk first. She likes to see what became of this star. It looks like it is thriving.

Could I stay until I meet your little ones? I’ve never met someone so small before.

Never any trouble, not for you. And you can stay here for as long as you wish. Forever is fine.

[ Beaming. But she takes her hands. ]

There are some nice open baths here, oh I should show you! You'll love them! Let me grab some things and we'll be on our way. The children should return with their uncle ere long!

[ Going to take her to the nice Lavender Beds baths! ]

Forever is imposing upon you, my spark. If only for a little bit...I would love to be here. Surely the wind will take me on some grand adventures, right?

[Though, settling forever did sound nice. So, so nice.

She takes her hand follows her now to the open baths. This was not a concept she was unfamiliar with. Often did she bath in streams or rivers.]

[ She squeezes her hand, showing her the pretty waters. She brought a traveling bag to keep all their clothing and everything they need in. ]

It looks lovely today, let's get in before it gets too cold! Here, I'll lend you bathing gear-

[ She's beginning to look for it, already wearing something to bathe in under her clothes so she just needs to strip... ]

I could go on adventures with you? Is your job not done?

[She would have thought Megumi would rest after all of that. Maybe this is her form of resting.

Venat is used to bathing bare, so she's already pulling her robe off to wade into the water. Sorry to anyone who is around! She is naked! Very naked!]

For a moment that feels like forever, all Megumi can do is stare, because the sight of her bared and entering the water is truly like seeing a goddess come to life. ]

[ Megumi has to make an effort to look good! Venat looks good like this- and she could just worship her like this.

She shrugs, figuring no one is here anyway, and strips down to her own bathing suit, before sliding into the water after her, and she wraps her arms around her waist, pressing her face against her collarbone. ]

[But she was a "primal" for quite some time, her Ancient body never aged. Nor did she ever keep any hurts.

[ She wonders if it was the effect of the Dynamis- her own wish to not be apart from her, in that moment that she summoned Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus. She lets out a happy little purr, her fingers tracing across her spine and her ears flick. ]

[ She smiles cheekily at her. ]

In this world, you've got to wear a little bit when bathing in public, lest the Wood Wailers take you away for indecency. But I can just say your bathing suit floated away.

[ She smells so good too... and her body... oh. She's so soft. ]
